OSPRI Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 22, 2026. Updated October 24, 2026.
1. Who we are
This policy is issued by OSPRI Biopath, LLC, a Texas limited liability company, trading as OSPRI (“OSPRI,” “we,” “us,” “our”). Corporate office: 7290 Virginia Parkway, Suite 3400, McKinney, TX 75071. Manufacturing and R&D: 2850 S Southwest Loop 323, Tyler, TX 75701.
Privacy contact: info@ospribio.com. Telephone: 972.860.9659.
Our products are supplied for laboratory research use. This website is addressed to the researchers, laboratory staff, and purchasing personnel who deal with us in a professional capacity.
2. What we collect
When you contact us. Through the contact form on this website, or by email, telephone, or at a conference, we collect your name, your organization, your email address, your country, the type of organization you work for, your reason for contacting us, and any research application you describe. When you use our contact form, we also record your confirmation that your intended application is nonclinical research and that you understand our products are supplied for research use only and are not for use in diagnostic procedures.
When you order or open an account. Contact and billing names, postal addresses, telephone numbers, purchase order and account details, and, where we are required to collect it for tax or credit purposes, a business tax identification number.
When you contact our support team. Through the support form on this website we collect your account name, your first and last name, your email address, your telephone number, your full postal address and country, the complaint type, a description of the issue, and any photographs, instrument run files, or other attachments you provide. We also collect product information where relevant, including the product name, catalog number, lot number, expiration date, date of receipt, order and purchase order numbers, quantities ordered and affected, and the name and email address of the person submitting the report if different from the account contact. Your submission is delivered to us through Formspree, which retains it for 30 days, and support records, including those that become complaint records, are then moved into Verso, our quality management system, where they are held for 4 years.
When you request a site tour. Through the tour form on the quality page we collect your name, your organization, your email address, and, if you choose to provide them, your telephone number and anything you would like to see during the visit. Your submission is delivered to us through Formspree, which retains it for 30 days.
Our correspondence with you. Emails, notes of calls, and other records of our dealings.
Your visit to this website. Described in section 4.
What we ask you not to send us. We do not need information about identifiable individuals, such as patients or research subjects, and we ask you not to put it in the free-text fields on our contact or support forms, in attachments, or in correspondence with us. If you do, we will take steps to remove it from our records.
3. Why we use it
To answer your inquiry and prepare a quote, evaluation, or custom configuration; to supply products, fulfill orders, and manage your account; to keep a record of your research-use confirmation; to investigate and resolve product complaints, order problems and to keep a record of them; to keep accounting, tax, and warranty records; to keep this website available and secure; to arrange site visits requested through our quality page; to understand how our website is used through analytics; to measure the performance of our advertising; and, if you have asked for them, to send you product and research updates. We will not use your information for an unrelated new purpose without updating this policy.
4. This website
For US visitors, Google Analytics runs on all pages of this site and advertising tools run only on certain pages. For visitors outside the United States, our hosting detects your location before the page is built and serves a version that contains none of the analytics or advertising tools described below. They are never loaded, rather than being blocked after loading. This detection uses your IP address, which is not perfectly accurate. A non-US visitor using a US VPN will receive the US version. We describe this because it is an accurate account of how the system works, not a promise that every non-US visitor is excluded. What we use is the following:
Vercel hosts this website. It processes server logs, including your IP address, the pages requested, and your browser type. Our server functions run within the United States, and logs are kept for one day. Vercel sets no cookies on our domain.
Google Tag Manager loads our analytics tag and sets no cookies itself.
Google Analytics tells us how this website is used. It sets two cookies on our domain, lasting 400 days, and records the pages you view, scrolling, outbound clicks, file downloads, form interactions and site searches, together with the page address and title, your screen size and your language. Google states that Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. Google keeps the event data for two months, and data held against a visitor for fourteen months, with that period restarting each time you visit again.
Meta Pixel measures our advertising and allows Meta to recognize a browser across other websites. It sets one cookie on our domain and one on facebook.com, each lasting 90 days, and records the page address, title and description, your screen size and time zone, and when you click the send button on our quality page tour form.
The LinkedIn Insight Tag measures our advertising on LinkedIn and supports advertising to professional audiences. It sets cookies on linkedin.com lasting between 30 minutes and a year, stores an identifier in your browser, and records the page address and title and when you click the send button on our quality page tour form.
Google Analytics runs on all pages of this site. The Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag run only on the homepage, the technology page, the company page, and the quality page. They do not run on the target index, the research library, the contact page, or the support page.
Formspree delivers your contact form submissions, support requests, and tour requests to us. It receives everything you enter in the relevant form, together with your IP address, browser, language and the page you came from. Formspree retains that information for 30 days.
Our own site stores one item in your browser, which records that the introductory animation has played so that it does not repeat. It holds no personal information and disappears when you close the tab.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop you using this site. If you are a US visitor and prefer not to have your activity on the advertising pages shared with Meta or LinkedIn, write to us at info@ospribio.com and we will act on it.
Meta and LinkedIn may collect information about your activities on the advertising pages above over time and across other websites. For visitors identified as outside the United States, neither runs; see above for the limits of that detection. Google Analytics collects information about your activities on this website; it does not track you across other websites. Google Ads remarketing does: it runs on the homepage, the technology page, the company page, and the quality page, and Google may collect information about your activities on those pages over time and across other websites. Your browser may send a Global Privacy Control signal, and we respect it. If you make a choice directly in our consent banner, that choice takes precedence over the signal, in either direction — accepting in the banner allows the tools you accepted, and declining blocks them regardless of what the signal says. We do not respond separately to Do Not Track signals, which are no longer supported by the major browsers. Our consent banner lets you decline all non-essential tracking, including sharing with our advertising partners, and you can change your choice at any time from the Consent Preferences link in the footer. If you prefer not to have your browsing on those pages shared with Meta or LinkedIn, contact us as described above. If any of this changes, we will update this policy before the change takes effect.
5. Who we share it with
Our website host (Vercel), our form provider (Formspree), Google, for the analytics described above, Meta, LinkedIn, and Google Ads, for the advertising described above, our email and document provider (Microsoft), HubSpot, which we use to manage inquiries and customer records, Verso, our quality management system, which holds complaint and support records, and our shipping providers. Each processes your information to provide its services to us, and may use it for its own purposes only to the extent its terms with us permit, such as security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. Meta, LinkedIn, and Google Ads however, collect data through their advertising tools under their own terms and for their own purposes as well as ours; see section 4.
We also share information with our professional advisers where they need it to advise us, with government authorities where we are required to disclose it by law, and with an acquirer if we sell or reorganize the business, subject to the acquirer honoring this policy.
We share information about your use of the advertising pages with Meta, LinkedIn, and Google Ads so that we can measure our advertising and show OSPRI advertising to people who may be interested in our products. You can opt out as described in section 4. We do not share your inquiry, your tour request, your support request, or your research application with any other supplier or manufacturer, and we do not share information from our contact, support, or tour request forms with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
6. Where your information is held
We are based in Texas. Our hosting, form, and analytics providers are US companies, and the information we hold is stored and processed in the United States. Meta and LinkedIn hold what their own tools collect on their own systems, which are not limited to the United States. For most visitors outside the United States, no advertising or analytics tools are loaded; see section 4 for how this detection works and its limitations.
7. How long we keep your information
Inquiries that do not lead to an order, 12 months after our last contact with you. Customer and order records, 4 years after your last order, for tax, accounting, and warranty purposes. Research-use confirmations, with the order they relate to and for the same period, or, where no order follows, with the inquiry they relate to and for the same period as that inquiry. Support and complaint records, 4 years after the matter is closed, held in Verso after the initial 30-day Formspree window. Tour request submissions go to us through Formspree, which retains them for 30 days. Emails we send in connection with a requested visit, records of the visit itself, and other correspondence not covered above are kept for the same period as the inquiry, order, or account they relate to, or otherwise in line with the criteria in the next paragraph. Marketing preferences, for as long as we hold your contact details and 1 year after you unsubscribe. Website server logs are kept for one day.
Where we cannot give a fixed period, we decide how long to keep information by reference to how long we require it, any period the law requires us to keep it, and any period during which a dispute could reasonably arise.
8. How we protect your information
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, appropriate to the amount and type of information we hold. No system is completely secure, and we do not promise a particular level of security.
9. Marketing
We will send you product and research updates by email only if you have asked us to. You can stop them at any time, using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us at info@ospribio.com. That does not stop us emailing you about a quote you asked for, an order you placed, or your account.
10. Other websites we link to
Our Research Library links to journal articles held by publishers and to DOI resolution services operated by others. When you follow one of those links you leave our website, and the privacy policy of the site you arrive at applies to you.
11. Your choices
Write to us at info@ospribio.com and we will do our best to help. You may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to stop sending you marketing, or ask us to stop sharing information about your use of this website with Meta and LinkedIn. We will reply within 45 days.
We may need to keep certain information even after you ask us to delete it, for example to meet a tax or record-keeping obligation, to keep a record of your research-use confirmation, or to defend a legal claim. If we cannot do what you have asked, we will explain why.
You can also contact the Office of the Attorney General of Texas at https://www.texasattorneygeneral.gov/consumer-protection/file-consumer-complaint.
12. Children
Our products are supplied for laboratory research use and this website is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us at info@ospribio.com and we will delete it.
13. Changes
This policy is effective from the date at the top. We will post any updated version here with a new effective date, and if we add, change or remove an analytics or advertising tool we will update this policy before the change takes effect.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
